curious how much of the quality jump came from quasi-formal geometry verification in the thinking trace.

Max catches an overlap at (484,84), adjusts a fork control point, and checks lines against a boundary. almost like extra inference is approximating a geometry verifier in neuralese.

would love to compare this against less thinking plus one actual render/screenshot feedback step

thinking about the eval loop as the more important artifact here than design.md itself.

an agent can follow the right tokens and still ship clipped text, empty states, or a visually incoherent page. build success proves the code ran; it doesn’t prove the artifact works.

the render has to come back into the loop: generate → render → observe → compare → revise.

curious how much of the harness evaluates pixels versus DOM and mechanical checks?
