A Venezuelan illegal migrant who was fatally shot by an off-duty FBI agent in Chicago had been caught and released at the U.S.-Mexico border during the Biden administration, it was reported.

The man, identified as 27-year-old Oscar Isaya-Corrales, was allegedly firing a gun toward people at a homeless encampment Monday evening when the agent intervened, according to a source.

The FBI agent was driving home from work around 5:30 p.m. when he spotted Isaya-Corrales firing into a group of people near 18th Street and Union Avenue in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood.
