BREAKING:
Anthropic is reportedly building an extensive surveillance and intelligence system to monitor activists and protests opposing artificial intelligence, according to The Prospect.
@a_nnawang It is not us that needs to "look up", it is you and your peers 👍
Quite simply, if enough employees feel that way, you have all the bargaining chips here.
@samrexford@a_nnawang Why should we read that… I mean I understand being informed. And then what?
These guys are hired because of their intelligence but seems to me they do not stop thinking about what they write
@AnthropicAI This only shows one thing: you’re accellerating on AI without having a good infrastructure to support it. And you keep pushing for super intelligent AI that will self-improve!? What in the actual FUCK.
You’ve gotta use AI because it’s the future. But also it’ll take your job. But also it’ll create a paradise on earth and solve most of our problems. But also it’ll end humanity soon. But also you’ll get left behind if you don’t use it right now.
@BernieSanders We don't need to ban it, we need an international commission that checks what these nerds are doing. We need to take this seriously, all together, as we did for nuclear energy. US have to talk to China about this, what is the point of a race if no one can win it?
Rules to live by:
1. Any data you send to a closed AI model is no longer your data.
2. Any data you send through an AI Router is no longer your data.
3. Any data you send to a free service is no longer your data.
When did it happens - exactly - that our world started being governed by a doomsday cult? I think I lost that year or something because shit's crazy dude
