@tracewoodgrains I agree in theory, but in practice spending 12c to deliver 12c seems like a bad choice (and that is using e.g. Venmo, using checks would cost ~50c).

To the patient it does. And the rich one gets the better care.

This is true across every aspect of healthcare. You think a patient doesn't prefer direct care over consult?

Lots of ways money improves medical care. It just doesn't mean you can cure your cancer.
