It is unfortunate that people like this woman never experience what they inflict on others. As someone who has been gang-raped, I can say with profound sadness that the thought of women behind bars being subjected to this is traumatic. No court in America sentences anyone to be raped as part of their punishment so we cannot allow this behavior. It should be self evident & it is truly staggering that anyone would try to defend this. I do not understand how so many people have lost their way. This should not be something you look at through a partisan lens - there is no universe where allowing men to prey on women inside a prison is acceptable or moral. These are the actions of an immoral people. And this is not justice - it is cruel & unusual punishment endorsed from the bench by a terrible person who appears to be so ideologically blinded she cannot see the truth staring her in the face. How do we stop this insanity?

New York Times reporter Jonathan Swan just got a stunning reality check from both Bill Maher and author James Kirchick.

Swan was spiraling over President Trump barring CNN and MS NOW from the White House, until Kirchick reminded him of some of the Obama-era media scandals.

KIRCHICK: “During the Obama administration they tapped the AP bureau’s phones and the phones of AP bureau reporters. They tapped their phones!”

Maher backed up some of the claims and seconded Kirchick’s point about the Obama administration.

MAHER: “I looked this up about freezing out one…they did it with Fox News. Josh Earnest, he was in the Obama administration. He admitted it.”

“The White House has demonstrated our willingness to exclude Fox News from news making interviews…”

“This is exactly what…you know, this is what I say about this country. Everybody’s like this is the worst thing in the world except when we do it.”

“And then it’s always perfectly okay.”

Maher nailed the hypocrisy in one sentence.

Gavin Newsom finally admits closing beaches during COVID was “insane,” and Bill Maher says he should have figured that out WHEN IT MATTERED!

He adds Newsom's COVID rules were the exact OPPOSITE of what should have been done.

Closing beaches was just the start:

• Banned singing at church
• Banned indoor church services until the Supreme Court stepped in
• Shut down Bible studies in private homes until the Supreme Court blocked it
• Rammed through the country's first COVID vaccine mandates for kids
• Told diners to keep their masks on “in between bites”
• Signed a law letting the state punish doctors for COVID “misinformation”
• Dined at the French Laundry while telling Californians to stay home
• Sent his own kids back to in-person private school while public schools stayed closed

Gavin forced COVID hell on everyone, got “The Science” all wrong, and didn’t even follow his own rules…

Brooke Goldstein sat on a CNN panel and did the one thing that table almost never allows. She spoke as someone who actually went.

Two years in and out of Jenin, Ramallah, Tulkarem, and Nablus. Interviews with Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, not through a press release and not through a translator who works for the story. They told her to her face that they want war. That is not a talking point she invented in a green room. That is what they said.

The rest of the table looked the way people look when the script gets interrupted. They have never been in Samaria or Judea. They have never watched the propaganda machine operate on the ground and then come home to hear it repeated as news. They sit on a sofa in a studio and decide what Israel is allowed to do, while the people who have been there keep getting treated as the problem for noticing that this is an ideology that teaches children to love death and then parks those children in front of the launcher.

She said the quiet part without raising her voice. It is not only Hamas. It is what the schools print. It is what the commanders admit. It is why there can be food in the Strip and still be starvation, because Hamas treats the warehouse the same way it treats the tent.

CNN will air the clip, then go back to calling itself journalism, and still act wounded the next time someone says the network is selling a product instead of a report.

@GoldsteinBrooke already did the work they refuse to do. They just did not like hearing it at their own table.
