Thoughts:

- “Christ is King” is a true statement Christians have rallied around for millennia. No one should stop saying it because someone might think they’re trying to be antisemitic

- Using “Christ is King” for any other motivation than to give humble glory to God is taking the Lord’s name in vain. Gloatingly employing it as a weapon against non-Christians is sinful. It should bother us whenever a Biblical refrain is co-opted for nefarious purposes

- I don’t think those warning against the malicious weaponization of “CIK” are trying to stop Christians from being Christian

- I also think it unfair to assume everyone declaring “CIK” is doing so with malice

Christ IS King. One day, every knee shall bow and every tongue confess this truth. Between now and then, make sure that you truly know Jesus the Savior, not just Jesus the slogan.
