"I'm furious.
Furious that those with power shrug at the humanitarian nightmares unleashed on 1 mil. children.
Furious that disease is as well-armed as the warring parties, but it gets no attention.”
- @1james_elder for @UNICEF, with @DrMargaretH for @WHO, briefing on #Gaza
Happy that my recent @abcnews interview on #Israel and #Hamas, which has gone truly viral as I’m receiving literally 1000s and 1000s of messages about it globally, is now translated into #Arabic:
Very telling when an ex-Top Adviser to Israel's Prime Minister is way more sympathetic to Palestinians than a BBC presenter:
Presenter "The Israelis would say.. we're defending ourselves"
Daniel Levy: "Do you really keep a straight face when you say that? ...these kind of lies"

Prime Minister of Barbados Mia Mottley Q.C. addresses #COP26 Climate Conference
Climate change is “unequivocally” caused by humans and temperatures may rise more than 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels by 2050, if not sooner, says the IPCC https://t.co/TiP4AUzXZ8
Wonder if @ScottMorrisonMP and co. ever read this stuff... "We found fossil fuel projects already in the pipeline will, by 2030, produce 35% more oil and 69% more coal than what’s consistent with a pathway towards a 1.5℃ temperature rise." https://t.co/1jBnkIRPFo
The fact that El$evier is suing Sci-Hub - well sure. That Wiley is joining in - I guess not too surprising. But that the other plaintiff is the American Chemical Society is incredibly disappointing. I wouldn't want to be associated with a scientific society that sues Sci-Hub.
With Australia now unable to sell coal to our largest trading partner, nation thanks its lucky stars the government was smart enough to move to a renewable economy years ago
