Finally, it's done (for now).

After almost 6 months, my latest app and first iOS app is complete and submitted to Apple for review. What a journey.

I built the app for my wife to replace a bunch of manual work she was doing after our daughter was born.

The app incorporates a range of cool features such as Ai insights, encrypted local storage, multi-user work, account recovery and deletion, reports and more.

Here are some stats:
- First recorded design and prototype 26 March 2026
- Time from that first commit to submission 178 days — 25 weeks, 3 days
- Separate days with recorded commits 71 days
- Recorded commits behind the submitted app 960, including merges
- Time since the first TestFlight release 110 days
- Commits during the final push, 5–20 September 101
- Passing tests across the main app and backend suites 1,824
- App and backend source, excluding tests and generated files About 37,000 nonblank lines

Now, let's see if it gets accepted and then whether it is profitable!
