Chief minister sh @Bhupendrapbjp will inaugurate Gujarat Students Startup & Innovation Hub (i-Hub) complex where 500 startups can operate together from a single place which is 1.50 lakh square ft in size. It has been constructed at a cost of over Rs. 60 crore.

The complex is established under the Students Startup & Innovation Policy (SSIP 2.0).

i-Hub has supported 429 startups for incubation so far. the value of this is worth Rs. 2300 crore with cumulative revenue generation of Rs. 430 crore and creation of 1400 jobs

i-Hub will offer a co-working space with highspeed internet and other basic facilities in plug-&-play model.

It has partnered with various institutions across the country and abroad which shall benefit startups operating from here.

All startups will be provided meeting room, seminar room, conference room, library etc infrastructural support for free or lesser cost. Startups will have i-Hub mentor board’s access. Such mentor board shall have experts for business modelling, designing, product development, scale-up strategy etc domains.
i-Hub’s in-house state IP facilitation centre will provide support for patent and trademark to startups.

All cost for filing patent and trademark shall be reimbursed by i-Hub.

i-Hub through various schemes will provide financial support to startups based on their eligibility. It will also offer access to 28 angel investors and 12 initial phase venture funds.
