Browser plugins, vs code extensions, package registries and other software distribution platforms–that are open to public use–need a review system or vouching.

Apple got this right with strict review processes, but does that scale? Each app in the App Store is signaling a high confidence because of the review process. The review process is the means; the high confidence is the desirable outcome.

If $1 million was betting on a piece of software, then that would also give high confidence. Should prediction markets be the solution to these supply chain and software distribution issues?

Chrome extension with zero code present. It only overrides the default search provider to a random server which can direct users to malware. Configuration that lives strictly in the extension's manifest.

@jmeistrich Spec driven development will iterate on markdown files so the ai tool will essentially be a glorified markdown editor with advanced rendering and navigation capabilities. Essentially, it’ll be like obsidian with great AI integration.

Removing the dependency on fossil fuel would remove the polyethylene bi-product (plastic) and therefore stop the pattern of producing environmental waste. @elonmusk should start an alternative automotive company or something; maybe one that focuses on electric energy as an alternative.

Wouldn’t more domains be more private, not less? If all wallets used the same set of domains, then you’re hiding in a larger crowd.

If each wallet used one domain each (their own), then it is very obvious which wallet a user is using just by DNS snooping. Not to mention, it makes that single server a target for data collection to corroborate all of a users activity.
