We're recruiting a fully funded PhD student at the KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Research Programme. The project will explore how infections, immune function and growth affect recovery among children in Kenya and Tanzania.

The successful candidate will receive a stipend, tuition support, medical insurance and the opportunity to work with researchers from KWTRP, Oxford University and NIMR Tanzania.

The CAGED project will use genomic surveillance to study the transmission of pathogens causing escalating infections of public health concerns.
