NEW INVESTIGATION: Did Soros Foundation Money Travel Through Charities Into the 2024 Presidential Race?

Full investigation with receipts
🔗https://t.co/csj3Sh4cCI

Money you can deduct on your taxes is supposed to fund charity, not campaigns. Here's a trail that runs from a tax-deductible donation to a presidential super PAC — entirely on public IRS returns.

The rule it tests is simple. A 501(c)(3) charity takes deductible dollars but can't spend on politics. A 501(c)(4) can spend on politics but offers no deduction. So when charitable money passes from a (c)(3), through intermediary charities, into a (c)(4) that spends it on campaigns, a tax-deductible dollar has been turned into political spending. That is the line §4955 of the tax code exists to police — and the intermediaries here are two charitable networks, Arabella and Tides.

Here's where the returns say the money went. Two George Soros private foundations sent $92,465,850 to the Arabella charities — New Venture, Hopewell, and Windward. Those same charities moved $343,967,196 to the Sixteen Thirty Fund, a 501(c)(4) political arm.

On a separate path, a Soros foundation routed money through the Tides Foundation, which sent $842,000 directly across the charitable-to-political line into that same fund.

Two further routes added more: Open Society Policy Center, a Soros-affiliated 501(c)(4), gave $68,150,000 directly, and Tides Advocacy, another Soros-linked political fund, added $4,169,700. In all, $417,128,896 reached the Sixteen Thirty Fund.

Now the last step. The Sixteen Thirty Fund and an affiliated political fund sent $13,739,642 to a federal super PAC — about 59% of its itemized receipts. The PAC spent $19,799,415 naming federal candidates, including $12,718,076 supporting the 2024 Democratic presidential nominee.

That closes the chain: charity → charity → political fund → super PAC → the presidential race. A tax-deductible foundation dollar at the top. Federal campaign spending at the bottom. Every rung on a public return.

Every step is permissible in isolation. A foundation may grant to a charity; a charity may grant to a 501(c)(4); a 501(c)(4) may spend on politics. But assembled from the returns, the sequence shows tax-deductible foundation dollars moving step by step toward candidate-directed federal spending.

The question the rules exist to answer: were charitable assets, in substance, converted into political campaign spending? Only the IRS can see the grant agreements and donor records that settle it — and the findings have been referred there.

I'm a forensic accountant and a registered Democrat. I follow the documents, not the politics. Every figure here is from the organizations' own IRS returns.

@menasheshapiro @UberEats It happened to me with Seamless a couple of years ago. It took them a day to resolve it.

[Sam E. Antar @SamAntar]

Rahm Emanuel wants to follow the money?

Let’s start with his $12.09 million from Centerview Partners after leaving the Chicago mayor’s office.

Then there’s Bill Clinton’s $104.9 million in speaking fees, including $56.3 million from foreign engagements.

And Hunter Biden’s initial $1 million annual compensation from Ukrainian energy company Burisma while his father was Vice President.

Those are documented payments, Rahm.

Now apply the same standards to everybody. What did they receive? From whom? For what? Was there an official favor?

A large payment isn’t proof of corruption. Neither is a business relationship.

If you want to play forensic accountant, follow the entire money trail. Not just the transactions involving politicians you dislike.

[Rahm Emanuel @RahmEmanuel]

The Trump Administration is screaming “show me the money!”

1) Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed, the UAE’s spy chief, bought 49% of Trump’s crypto company for $500 million, four days before the inauguration.

2) Next, the Sheikh just happens to be in the Trump investor group, lead by a $2 million Trump donor, bidding on $20 billion of Lukoil’s assets.

3) And in Alaska, a gas project started by Don Jr.’s college friend was secretly funded by Novatek — a Russian energy giant — through a UAE company.

You don’t have to be a PhD student to figure out what’s going on. Any one of these deals would make an alderman in Chicago blush.

As you keep paying more and more at the pump, the Trump family’s account is overflowing with billions.

[Sam E. Antar @SamAntar]

Governor @JBPritzker, did you bother reading the Bloomberg report before reposting this?

Bloomberg says Trump’s trades were reportedly handled by independent money managers using automated, index-based strategies.

Your own chart shows @RoKhanna accounting for 8,000 congressional trades. That’s 36% of the total.

Transactions aren’t proof of personal trading decisions or insider trading.

You’re a billionaire. You should understand the difference.

[Governor JB Pritzker @GovPritzker]

Nothing to see here, folks.

[Sam E. Antar @SamAntar]

.@AOC accused Elon Musk of gutting Medicaid and Social Security to finance his own tax cuts and government contracts. She also accused him of robbing the public.

She made those accusations on Instagram Live, not during congressional proceedings.

The Supreme Court ruled in Hutchinson v. Proxmire that congressional immunity doesn’t protect defamatory statements made in public communications outside legislative proceedings.

AOC should be asked to produce the evidence supporting her accusations.

Being a member of Congress doesn’t give you a license to defame people.

[MAZE @mazemoore]

AOC told her followers that Elon Musk gutted Medicare and Social Security to pay for his own tax cuts.

Imagine if someone actually believed this.

These are the type of lies that get people killed, and that’s one of the reasons why Democrats tell them.

[Sam E. Antar @SamAntar]

Hey @TishJames: During my criminal days at Crazy Eddie, our outside auditors found what they considered small, immaterial discrepancies.

They dismissed them, concluded there was no material fraud, and issued clean audit opinions on our financial statements.

Meanwhile, we were committing massive fraud.

Small discrepancies can be clues to much bigger problems.

That’s why you investigate them instead of explaining them away.

Something worth remembering when it comes to election integrity.

[Tish James @TishJames]

Early voting starts today, New York! 🗳️

Your vote is your power. Make a plan to vote early, and let’s bring it home!

[Sam E. Antar @SamAntar]

.@RoKhanna, your household disclosed 5,402 stock transactions in 2025. Your campaign has raised millions from wealthy donors, including Silicon Valley investors.

You lecture Americans about billionaires, stock trading and “uncompromised politicians.”

Here’s a question: Does your definition of “uncompromised” apply to your own household and campaign, or just everybody else’s?

[Ro Khanna @RoKhanna]

The Democratic Party needs a new generation of uncompromised politicians.

This country needs people who will fight to end the genocide in Gaza, tax the billionaires, and hold the Epstein Class accountable.

[Sam E. Antar @SamAntar]

.@SenSanders, you claimed Americans who paid $1 in federal income taxes last year paid more than the corporations on your list.

False.

Here’s a sample of their 2025 SEC filings showing federal income taxes paid in cash:

CVS: $1.583 billion
PayPal: $535 million
Kohl’s: $41 million
United Airlines: $33 million
Tesla: $28 million

Over $2.2 BILLION from just five companies.

And here’s what you left out:

United had $10.6 billion in federal tax-loss carryforwards. Tesla had $3.56 billion.

Prior-year tax losses can legally offset future taxable income.

You confused current federal income tax expense with cash taxes paid and ignored the prior-year losses.

Did you bother reading the SEC filings?

[Sen. Bernie Sanders @SenSanders]

If you paid $1 in federal income taxes last year, you paid more than:

Disney
American Airlines
Citigroup
CVS
DoorDash
GoDaddy
H&R Block
HP
Kohl’s
Ticketmaster
Palantir
PayPal
Roku
Southwest Airlines
Tesla
United Airlines
Pizza Hut
Taco Bell
KFC

Absurd. We need REAL tax reform.

[Sam E. Antar @SamAntar]

. @yashar, what about libel per se?

Kushner’s attorneys specifically raise it in their letter.

Under New York law, false accusations of serious criminal conduct can constitute defamation per se. Special damages need not be proven.

Kushner still has to establish actual malice, but where’s your evidence that classified information would prevent him from doing that?

You’re speculating about an evidentiary obstacle without establishing that it exists.

[Yashar Ali 🐘 @yashar]

Jared Kushner’s attorneys at Clare Locke have sent Vanity Fair a formal demand letter disputing the story and demanding its removal.

It can be very difficult for current and former intelligence customers to pursue defamation cases, not because they face a different legal standard, but because proving their case may require classified evidence they are not authorized to disclose.

I’m not making a prediction about whether Kushner will or won’t file suit…just pointing out that it’s more challenging for him than for most.

[Sam E. Antar @SamAntar]

During my criminal days at Crazy Eddie, our outside auditors found discrepancies they considered immaterial. They concluded our financial statements were fairly presented and issued clean audit opinions.

Meanwhile, we were committing massive fraud.

Gavin Newsom points to errors in some DOJ voter records as evidence that the investigation is bogus.

Finding errors in an investigation doesn’t establish that there’s nothing else to find.

I learned that lesson from the criminal side of the table.

[Governor Newsom Press Office @GovPressOffice]

Trump’s DOJ is unserious — making unserious claims and seeking fear-mongering headlines.

[Sam E. Antar @SamAntar]

On October 22, @NewYorkStateAG Letitia James’s office fought a court challenge seeking to remove her from the Cornell 7 investigation over alleged bias.

Today, October 24, the NY Post reports her office has interviewed outside lawyers to handle the investigation.

Two questions:

Will James retain control over those lawyers?

And how much will New York taxpayers pay?

NYC Council Speaker @JulieMenin voted YES on the Community Opportunity to Purchase Act, which restricts how owners of certain apartment buildings can sell their properties.

Her husband, Bruce Menin, is a founding principal of Crescent Heights, a real estate developer with over $14 billion in projects nationwide, including NYC.

I’d like to know whether any properties owned by her husband or his business interests are subject to the same restrictions she just voted to impose on other property owners.

That’s a fair question for the Council Speaker.

Since @NewYorkStateAG Letitia James took office, the racial disparity in NYC violent-crime victimization has grown.

According to NYPD complaint data:

Black victims: 4.50 times the White victimization rate in 2018, rising to 4.68 in the first half of 2026.

Hispanic victims: 2.94 times, rising to 3.27.

These are crime victims, not statistics to be ignored when they’re politically inconvenient.

The numbers deserve scrutiny.

[Saritha Komatireddy @sarithaforny]

Felony assaults across New York are up 20% under AG Letitia James. In Midtown Manhattan, it’s particularly acute — the attacks tend to happen on the sidewalk, in the subway, at the bus terminal, and in stores and restaurants, and they’ve more than doubled. New Yorkers are less safe, and the small businesses in the area pay a #CrimeTax because fewer people walk in the door.

[Sam E. Antar @SamAntar]

@RashidaTlaib, I read your source and your legislation, H.R. 4966.

Your source examines Walmart patents describing what technology could do. It doesn’t establish that Walmart is using customers’ personal information to charge them higher prices.

Walmart denies doing so.

But here’s what your bill actually does.

Section 5 bans electronic shelf labels in grocery stores larger than 10,000 square feet, even when every customer pays the same price.

Section 2 also gives the FTC broad authority to determine what constitutes a grossly excessive grocery price.

You claim you’re stopping surveillance pricing. Why does your legislation also prohibit electronic price tags that aren’t being used for surveillance pricing?

And where’s your evidence that Walmart is actually engaging in the conduct you’re accusing it of?

[Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib @RepRashida]

Walmart claims it prices products, not people–but this is literally us in their parking lot demanding that they stop price gouging.

Walmart’s surveillance technology allows them to use your sensitive personal information against you to raise prices. That’s outrageous.

The Stop Price Gouging in Grocery Stores Act bans corporate price gouging and surveillance pricing.

Kathy Hochul says Democrats fight for families, local businesses, immigrant communities, and the people.

Families: NYC’s under-five population fell 18% from 2020 to 2024. Child care costs a fortune.

Local businesses: New York businesses with 25–99 employees declined 4% over four years.

Immigrant communities: Hochul signed legislation restricting local police and sheriffs from cooperating with ICE on civil immigration enforcement, including cases involving people with criminal records. Her policy obstructs federal efforts to remove noncitizens who pose a danger to New Yorkers.

The people: NYC ambulance response times for life-threatening emergencies rose from approximately 9:55 in FY2019 to 13:09 in FY2026.

Governor, whom exactly are you fighting for?

[Kathy Hochul @KathyHochul]

When Democrats lead, we fight for our families.
We fight for our local businesses.
We fight for our immigrant communities.
We fight for the people.

Let’s keep fighting.

Madison Ave on a beautiful Friday night in Manhattan.

[MichaelRapaport @MichaelRapaport]

ASTORIA, QUEENS IS A DISGRACE.

Homeless encampments, open drug use, public urination, human feces, nudity, tents and garbage blocking sidewalks.

Parents with strollers and people in wheelchairs can’t even get through. Kids are witnessing this on their way to SCHOOL and PLAYGROUNDS.

Hundreds of complaints. Residents begging for help.

And according my sources to residents, the NYPD has its hands tied while the city offers shelter and allows the encampments to remain.

ZORON THE MORON, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?

New Yorkers deserve CLEAN, SAFE STREETS. This is unacceptable.

[Sam E. Antar @SamAntar]

It’s a beautiful Friday evening in Manhattan. Please treat yourselves to some quality time, even if it is for a few moments. In our troubled times, we all need a momentary distraction to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us. I hope you all have a blessed and enjoyable weekend!
