Just curious: what's your view of Bielke-Petrrson's appointment (pivotal moment) of his obviously corrupt choice for the Senate seat vacated due to the Labor Senator's death? Still all kosher?

Anyhow, you may be fine with the dismissal of an entire elected government removed by a vice-regal figure in a top hat; many of us are not.

Besides, the highly damaging scenario would have been avoided if the odious Joh Bielke-Peterson didn't trigger the whole thing by corrupting the Senate ballance with his ring-in. The whole sorry affair was a total disgrace.

@coland267 @rollo75 @JonesHowdareyou Simply put, the GG made no effort to avoid what would guarantee a national crisis. Clearly the man was either unfit for the role or acted to suit himself. Furthermore, the Queen had a choice to at least advise him to consult with his PM before triggering such an extreme outcome.
