Thanks for keeping the lessons coming coach!
I found a great tool for teaching PD for anyone interested- the @USAFootball podcast. Incredible lessons from some of the top coaches in the sport. Coaching and teaching are one in the same vein. Some awesome lessons from @CoachLustig (a former coach of mine)
@CoachLustig Just listened to your USA Football pod episode! Good to hear you talking ball. Hope all is well. Stay safe and I'm looking forward to cheering on 'Cuse this Fall.
Started unit 2: The Heros Journey in grade 6 this week. This week’s fun Friday activity- Superhero Guess-Who! I spent time today in the makers space laser cutting these for Friday’s class. Almost time to kid-test them.
I LOVE THIS TEAM! GREAT TEAM EFFORT! THANKS TO ALL OF OUR ALUMS AND FAMILY THAT CAME BACK TO SUPPORT THIS WEEKEND! SPECIAL MOMENT TOGETHER! #OTM#1AAT#FAMILY
Thanks @CraigMEdwards for the idea! This has really changed the way I have thought about our “core work”/ abdominal sessions. (We’ll get to the weight soon) https://t.co/4wQcdlc3VE
Functionally, the muscles of the core are asked to isometrically stabilize and not to actually create movement. The core training that you program should reflect that.
We’ve got some WORKERS today! I’m really proud of our Fit Team group this semester. I cannot wait to watch their hard work and dedication pay off during their winter and spring seasons.
I picked up this book on a recommendation from @samaugustgray and I can not recommend it enough! Full of gems for athletes, coaches and everyone in between! Getting my nightly mobilization in.
