At my house we have some very nice green grass in the summer. This is because we add fertilizer to make sure it has all the right nutrients and a good pH level. 🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲 #apesland@franklinlorax
This is a living plant. There are many different things such as fertilizer, peat moss in the plants soil too help keep the plant growing which keeps it nutritious @franklinlorax#apesland
In the summer, I traveled to a lot of parks and saw plant growth. Plants need sunshine, water, nutrients, and a good ph level in order to grow. A good ph level is between 6.5-7.0. This will allow the nutrients to be readily available for the plant. @franklinlorax#apesland
By using my Chromebook I am reducing my ecological foot print. I am reducing the amount of paper I use and reducing the amount of resources I use everyday. I am much more aware of how many resources I have compared to other people around the world. @franklinlorax#apespop
This is my friend Kenna. She limits her ecological footprint by being vegetarian. Because of the use of one less tropic level, food shortage concerns would be alleviated if we all became vegetarian. #apespop@franklinlorax
Dina and I carpool daily to minimize our impact on the earth and car pollution. Also, we use less fuel this way which helps the environment stay clean and is more energy efficient. #apespop@franklinlorax
My mom drives a Honda CRV which is a pretty fuel efficient car, averaging about 28 miles per gallon. With the population growing everyday, limiting our gasoline consumption would is great for lowering our ecological footprint and keep resources available @franklinlorax#apespop
Ava and I carpool together to lower our gas usage. This is more sustainable and will bring down the amount of pollution in our atmosphere. It’s important to lower this because humans need this planet to be healthy so we can inhabit it. @franklinlorax#apespop
My friends and I try to carpool as much as we can. This way we limit our amount of carbon emissions and limit our ecological footprints! With having such a big population, it’s important to carpool to protect the Earth’s resources! @franklinlorax#apespop
This is my dog Rover! He’s a K-strategist as his parents had fewer offspring and provided heavy parental care for the first few weeks of his life. K-strategists have a higher chance of living a longer life!! #apeseco@franklinlorax
This is Lucy, and she is a k-strategist species. This means that if she had offspring, she would care for them and have a fewer amount. These species are most commonly larger than r-strategists. #apeseco@franklinlorax
