Public USB charging stations can be exploited with malwares and could lead to unauthorised access to your devices. This attack is called as 'Juice Jacking'.
To stay safe, use your own powerbank rather than relying on public charging stations. #privacy#cybersecurity#malware
Controversial hard truth:
Coding is needed for cybersecurity…hear me out.
I know, I know, you can get hired into cyber without any coding experience but that is becoming increasingly difficult and I wonder if you will keep that job.
Reason, most of cyber boils down to bad code. Bad design of code, bad implementation of code, bad testing of code, bad maintenance of code, bad policies around bad code…bad people using bad code.
** eventually, you will need to fix the code **
To make matters worst, AI is pressing into all fields, including cyber, and those who can code and wield AI like a superpower, will be retained.
I am not talking about chatGPT. I am talking about you building a compliance or other AI tool or agent for your company and becoming irreplaceable!
So, why not be part of the solution, level up, and stand out from the other 500 applicants going for that position?
Python is what I recommend you start with. It is easy to pick up and has a broad range of usefulness across the field. AI tools and APIs are easily accessed by Python too.
How, join @Replit with a free account and get started with the 100 days of coding challenge. It is an interactive Python learning environment and really helps you learn fast. See my recent blog articles on this site if interested.
Many of my mentees are doing that, right now. They will stand out, will you?

Happy Birthday, #Linux! 🐧🎈🎂
Aug. 25th, 1991, 21-year-old Linus Torvalds announced he had created a “free OS.”
Today, from nest devices to @NASA, #android smartphones to the #top500 supercomputers: #Linux powers #tech of all levels, all around the world.
@Cyb3rMaddy Agreed. Also should explore and master more than one domain within cyber security even the interest is in one particular area.
