The average Gazan has never met a single person from the outside world in their lives; never been allowed to step a foot outside Gaza, not even to the West Bank; never seen a passenger plane, an airport, a ship, a mountain, snow, forests, rivers, or lakes... A human cage!
How many lives. How many childhoods. How many pregnancies. All the joy of having a child, all the pain of losing a child. All the trauma the survivors carry. All the guilt we bear. Humanity failed them all.
Congratulations, Israel. You’ve normalized footage of mutilated Palestinian bodies — men, women, and babies. Palestinian limbs, organs, and blood are now a normal sight. Dehumanizing Palestinians may be your cruelest success. May it be your greatest curse as well.
I’m writing to you now from Gaza… so please, read my words carefully.
To the world that has abandoned us
You left us to be killed, to cry ourselves to sleep each night in pain, hunger, fear, and sorrow
We don’t ask for much, just a word of truth, a voice that refuses to stay silent in the face of our suffering
I cry every day
When I see my children cry
When I lose another friend or relative
When I hear a child screaming from hunger and no one comes to help
We are human beings, not numbers, not headlines
We've tasted more pain than any heart should bear
Isn’t it time for this nightmare to end?
Help us
We have no strength left
We've endured more than enough😭😭
I don’t know if our efforts will do anything.
But I do know that doing nothing isn’t an option.
I ask myself every day what more we could possibly do.
Keep praying for guidance, and keep going.
Don’t stop until the bombs stop.
Don’t rest until our people rest.
Today, a nearby area was targeted, and I rushed to help. But then, I saw a child gathering torn flesh and scattered remains, crying out, "This is my mother! This is my mother!" His screams echoed in the air. At that moment, my body froze, chills ran through me, and I couldn’t move at all…
