Idea 701: invent a Scarpa architecture tile board game called ‘Sacello’. Rules: everyone gets an equal number of tiles, players have to place tiles next to another tile, 4 small colored squares can never meet, no more than 2 tiles can repeat in sequence. When the winner places last tile on board meeting above requirements they say ‘Sacello!’ Loser has to coordinate design with the contractor and review shop drawings.
Sienna Apartments by Sameep Padora & Associates (@sameeppadora) The site for a small apartment building located in the Jubilee Hills check post area of Hyderabad city offered vantage views of the city and of the adjoining park.
The community-oriented project by @sameeppadora, comprising single-family residences, is replete with winding pathways and intimate gardens. https://t.co/2sJWfw1DeX
I recently moderated a panel discussion on the use of Artificial Intelligence in Architecture, organised by the Indian Institute of Architects, Nashik Centre. Highly impressed by the work being done by @SameepPadora & Asso. & @designawareorg in this area. ++

Art Deco Mumbai Trust and the Mumbai Research Centre, the Asiatic Society of Mumbai are pleased to invite you to “Architects and Firms That Built Modern Bombay”
Supported by @RCB1929.
Inauguration on 2 March 2024, 11.30 am (By Registration, https://t.co/1FeqmIQ3IL )
An exhibition honouring the architects and firms who built Bombay through the 1930s-50s, with a progressive vision for a modern way of life. Several of them were the first generation of Indian architects, graduating from homegrown schools like Sir J. J. School of Art. Much of the built form of the city they designed and envisioned still stands tall, and have provided Mumbaikars with a quality of life they have enjoyed for decades. Yet, they have never been identified or acknowledged for their singular contribution in shaping modern Bombay. This exhibition is a tribute to them.
Come by to engage with the people who built the city, their ideologies and vision, and the ethos of professional collaboration they enjoyed with each other. Enjoy a chance to see material contributed by family members of these architects, like plaques, rare original drawings, photographs and personal memorabilia hitherto unseen. Join us for a curatorial walkthrough (Slide 2 and 3 for programme schedule) to appreciate the finer nuances of the exhibition.
