@Vimeo Is anyone aware of problems with setting up a Vimeo account? The card page is not working at all. I'e tried two different cards, two different browsers and two different computers.
If I had £1 for everytime I heard the word “unprecedented” in the last few weeks, we still wouldn’t be able to buy a home in london as we’d only have a 20% deposit

"It's not the cruel criticism of people who hate us that shake us from our knowing, its the quiet concern of those who love us" G.Doyle on @BreneBrown's Untamed Podcast😦
We the people of God, do not profess 2 have always got things right. We have hurt you & misrepresented the kingdom many times. Sorry. God arrests our attention 2 love better. We R dedicated 2 the pursuit of enacting the same grace-filled and redemptive love God gives 2 us daily.
If council estate teens went around on bikes to kill cats, the upper and middle class would label them ‘scum’ and ‘tasteless’.
But put middle class white men in tights on horses to hunt foxes and it’s a skilled sport for the wealthy.
Following Jesus never leads to burnout. Which is to say, burnout indicates that I am pursuing things Jesus would rather I not pursue, saying yes to things Jesus would rather I say no to, carrying burdens Jesus would rather I lay down.
@ChrisKatongo3 If He looked like the typical Galilean Semite of his day, He was likely dark-skinned with broad, round facial features. Here is a artistic attempt to approximate what Jesus may have looked like based on the anthropological data we have for His time and location in history:
It is natural to your spiritual growth to cease believing things about God you once thought true & vital but now regard as false & hurtful. We begin by believing things that bind us to God by dutiful fear as we grow into believing things that bind us to God by voluntary love.
Conservatism gone bad seeks to control by playing upon our fears. Liberalism gone bad seeks to play upon our desires. The gospel of Christ banishes fear and redeems desire, making love the only true and sustainable motive.
@GuvnaB highlighting how the church must learn from its own history in order to know the way forward, using John Newton / Amazing Grace as example. How often do you hear the history of the song explained? The Bible doesn't brush over back stories. #WeNeedToTalkAboutRace
Inclusion is having a seat at the table.
Belonging is having your voice heard at the table.
Really important conversation happening now @StPaulsLondon#WeNeedToTalkAboutRace
