It is not widely known that every morning, intelligence agencies brief Joe Biden with detailed satellite pictures of the Israeli destruction of Gaza, down to bodies of children in the streets. Day after day, Biden sees what few others see, yet still knuckles under to Netanyahu. Whose president is he, anyway? -R
I hate the word “ceasefire” in the context of Palestine.
Ceasefire implies that both sides are firing.
Or that both sides are attacking each other.
Or that it’s somehow a war between two equal opponents.
No.
One side has the most technologically advanced weapons in the world, funded by the biggest economy in the world.
The other side has rocks, and consists of mostly children and women.
Muslims love and adore Jesus Christ
Muslims don’t believe Jesus in hell boiling in human excrement
Muslims don’t get offended when you say Christ is King
Maybe Muslims and Christians aren’t actually enemies
You wouldn't do to animals, you wouldn't even do to insects, what Israel and the US are doing to Palestinian children.
The dehumanization of their suffering is one of the worst things I've ever seen in my life. And I spent a decade in a war zone.
Hamas fighters hunkering down in tunnels have small arms with dwindling ammunition. Hamas has no air force, tanks, or armed drones. Why is Netanyahu exaggerating their power? Is it because he wants to expel from Gaza the Palestinian survivors of his deadly ongoing genocide? -R
A bridge in Baltimore collapsed today after a cargo ship ran into it.
America has not invested in infrastructure for decades.
We don’t seem to have money for roads, bridges, schools, government assistance programs, or even our veterans.
But we have billions of dollars to send to Israel to kill Palestinian children.
Welcome to the United States of Israel.
The American people do not want to see hundreds of thousands of people starve.
The American people do not want to see small children bombed to death while they sleep.
The American people do not want to continue funding Netanyahu’s cruel war.
Unpopular opinion, but to all Palestinians in the diaspora—myself included—it is shameful to call out & ridicule Palestinians who lived through the months after 10-7 in Gaza because you disagree with their opinions or feelings right now. You can state your opinion too, but you can do that without disenfranchising those who have actually lived this genocide. This calling out people by name, shaming, ridiculing or talking over people who have lived in Gaza after 10-7— smh. It’s not cool. You don’t get to do that from the comfort of your home with food & water, electricity & internet. Check your privilege & do better. (And yes for those that know me—I did indeed say that in my teacher voice.)
Since Instagram and Facebook are trending, this is a good time to remind people that Meta has been shadow banning and censoring Pro-Palestinian voices since the start of the genocide.
Daily on IG & FB we see accounts shut down, posts removed, and users banned, for no reason other than showing support for Palestine and the Palestinian people.
Maybe this outage will give them time to clean things up?
