Following the release of https://t.co/45RryK0eZI in 2023, we have just published the magic that runs this amazing tool! We show how vissE and https://t.co/45RryK0eZI can be used to study molecular processes at a systems level. #scRNAseq#spatial#GSEA https://t.co/xtfLSOR84G 1/5
If you hate scrolling through results of GSEA to understand biological function, you’ll love our new webapp https://t.co/45RryK0eZI that offers summarisation and interactive #visualisation, driving hypothesis generation. #GSEA#scRNAseq#proteomics@10xGenomics @nanostringtech🧵
@stipend_tracker Presumably for any phd students who also teach (or do other part time work) their income/super from that will make them eligible? Doesn't cover everyone of course
Looking to do an industry-focussed PhD combining #compchem & #psychedelics? Know any excellent #Computing students willing to learn some #Science? I have a @ResearchRMIT PhD stipend (with generous top-up) available immediately for a project in conjunction with @Psylo_Bio
What does human white matter look like in cognitive decline? I’ve been asking this in my postdoc in the @MironLab and was thrilled to present prelim findings @UKDRI_ECR conference. No better way to round out the first 8 months in Edinburgh, nor a better lab to have spent it with!
Whenever discussions on minimum wage are brought up, the stipend rate that most PhD students survive on is never discussed.

The RTP base stipend rate for PhD students across Australia is $28,854 per year. This is tax-free, but that doesn't make it a livable wage.
However, across Australia, what PhD students are paid varies between institution, and even discipline.
I love working with RNA-Seq data because you'll generate a 10-panel plot that contains more information than the human mind can possibly comprehend and you'll just be like "okay this is Figure 4" and move on
Everyone should be weighing long COVID into their risk/benefit strategy right now - but if you rely on having a high-functioning brain for your professional success, or if you just enjoy having a brain that works, you should be paying particularly close attention.
