🔴But, Bankers shall work on Saturdays. Government doesn't consider them humans...📢
#5DayBankingNow#AICBOF
This is not merely a 3-day strike by bankers; it is a protest against the betrayal of assured commitments and an attack on the dignity of bankers across all ranks.
PLI is for motivation, not to demotivate. Respect commitments. Respect bankers.

Banks will remain Closed for 5 Days in demand of #5DayBankingNow

File pending for approval more than 1000+ days even after agreed in settlement Notes.
Every 24x7 banking service has a banker behind it and a family waiting at home. We agreed to the 5-day week in March 2024 and accepted longer weekday hours. The regulator, the insurer and the Government all work 5 days.
Our demand is just. The delay is not.
#5DayBankingNow #AIBOC @PMOIndia
@aiboc_in With staff shortages creating more pressure, the implementation of a 5-day week is more urgent than ever for bank employees. #5DayBankingNow#AIBOC@PMOIndia
8.86 lakh employees in 2012-13.
7.58 lakh by March 2025.
Business past Rs 283 lakh crore.
Record profits, over a lakh fewer hands and still six day per week.
5 day banking is not a concession. It is arithmetic that caught up long ago
#5DayBankingNow@DFS_India@ANI
Bankers keep India connected 24×7.
But behind every transaction, target and deadline is a human being, with a family, responsibilities and a life beyond the branch.
A 5-day week was agreed in March 2024, with bankers accepting longer working hours from Monday to Friday.
The demand is reasonable. The commitment is proven. The delay is difficult to justify.
Implement 5-Day Banking now.

#5DayBankingNow
India’s Bank employees seek two things rooted in fairness and dignity at work.
#5DayWeekandFairPLI
The demand for a 5 Day Work Week in banks is not new. It already stands agreed upon in the Bipartite Settlement of March 2024. What remains is its long-pending implementation.
At the same time, the unilateral and discriminatory PLI system must be abolished and replaced with a fair, transparent and inclusive framework for all employees, recognising the collective effort behind every institution’s performance.
Hardworking bank employees are not asking for privilege. They are asking for implementation of an agreement and equality in reward.
A motivated banking workforce strengthens Indian banking and the nation.
@PMOIndia
When the entire world is moving towards 4 days a week, only we are deprived of the much needed 5 days banking… RBI, state government, insurance sector is having 5 days a week.. It’s high time that bankers should also be given 5 days a week… #5DayBankingNow
#Implement5DayBanking#StopPrivatizationofIDBI
Divesting a profitable bank is a misguided move that weakens national assets and identity.
In parallel, adopting a #5DaysBanking week is necessary due to growing digital transactions and mounting pressure on banking operations
