The lack of grace or humanity at @Avis is just appalling. A delay of 5 minutes caused by some car accident on the road leading to the return center cost my father-in-law a whopping $116.27. Don’t blame him for canceling his reservation in a few weeks. Hope it was worth it, Avis.

After @BerkeleyLaw had to go remote in March 2020 due to #COVID, @CalifLRev student editors who’d borrowed books for journal work couldn’t even return to campus. But now, @UCBerkeleyLib is assessing late fees and refusing waiver requests. Just awful. @insidehighered @chronicle
