@doctor_dru_ If you can call their family and get them to talk to the patient. Children especially as waking an elderly partner late at night often not great. But if you explain the situation and the alternative being high risk my experience is positive and often very helpful.

@trentconsultant @dannyjnwong I worked at a brand new hospital where the management coat room was bigger than the ICU changing room. There were two on call rooms for the entire hospital and they were only for the PCI team. As an ST5 in ICU I took a roll mat in and rested on an office floor.
