- Even though the conflict was simple, The drama was constructed well and the narration was engaging..✌️
- Overall, it was a neat watch for me & if you like Rural family dramas then you can give this one a try..🤙

Neat village based film that follows the life of a tradition bound strong widow who refuses to wear a blouse exposing one shoulder. She is stubborn and refuses to change and embrace modernity despite pressure from family.

Dir #VipinRadhakrishnan without any melodrama has made a moving film based on Perumal Murugan’s short story. It works because of #GeethaKailasam’s brilliant title role performance as the matriarch who lives on her own terms. Great camerawork by Anjoy Samuel.

A well made rooted and realistic rural story.
