@elonmusk If they could only provide internet access over open waters onboard small aircraft at a reasonable cost, we would sign up. In Scandinavia, most small aircraft flights take us over the open sea (we are surrounded by seas), and there is no reasonbly prices service available

@phillipstewart @Skxptxk @Starlink The cheapest Starlink plan which works for general aviation (small private piston engine aircraft) in Sweden is the Aviation 450 mph plan at USD $1000 per month. The 300 mph plan is not useful in Sweden since a large proportion of flights here take place over open waters.

@Oksii33 We have “normally salted” and “extra salted” butter. If you need “unsalted” butter you might want to find a pharmacy or special diet shop. In Ukraine, it is nearly impossible to find butter with even a tiny bit of salt. How to survive there?

@Starlink The coolest use of Starlink is in aviation. It was a marvel when we could have high speed internet onboard our small planes. This is gone now. Especially for us who fly over open waters every day. The price went from 90 EUR per month to 1000 EUR per month for Aviation 450 😢

@Starlink I wish the Aviation 300 plan could be used over open waters. 90% of our flights cross ocean waters, meaning we always loose connection during these flights.

@Starlink Update: Starlink for general aviation aircraft in Sweden is now USD $3,040 per month for 20 GB. This is in Sweden. No lower cost option available for small aircraft. And some of you think USD $250 is expensive 😀

@Starlink Starlink just stopped working aboard aircraft in Sweden. Support says the aviation subscription is not available in Sweden as of immediately. The Starlink Mini we bought suddenly became useless.
