@uzmabarlaskar Yes! Before we got here, I had zero friends on the ground and I used FB remotely to find out about schools, daycare, good suburbs to rent in, etc. Invaluable!

@uzmabarlaskar I used FB for exactly this reason when we moved to Australia the first time and subsequently every new neighbourhood. Haven’t found a good alternative. Pretty much the only reason I still use FB.

@VPremShanker At the family events us kids were tasked with cutting fruits and veggies for a completely raw meal which was incredibly boring to us at the time. The incident and article were real shockers. I still can’t believe there’s not a logical end to that story.

@VPremShanker It was his early days when he personally taught all his classes. He gain credibility as an ex-engineer yogi who spoke in posh English. His classes for adults dabbled in exploring out of body experiences. I recall he was staunchly against idol worship (!).
