Her name was Raha Bohlulipour, 19 years old, studied Italian in Tehran. Killed by security forces for the crime of demanding freedom.
She once wrote: “I am a big fan of life.”

For wanting a normal life,
the Islamic Republic shot her in the lung and killed her on January 9.

Forough Khosravi, an elementary school teacher from Behbahan, has been sentenced to 15 years in prison by Branch 1 of the Behbahan Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Moradian.

According to reports, the charges stem from private text messages with a family member and old Instagram posts related to protests. During her hearing, the judge reportedly told her, “You’re still too radical!”

Khosravi was charged with “propaganda against the regime” (1 year), “insulting the Supreme Leader” (2 years), “insulting the founder of the Islamic Republic” (2 years), “insulting the sacred” (5 years), and “communication with media outlets affiliated with Israel” (5 years). Under Article 134 of the Islamic Penal Code, the longest sentence—five years—will be enforced.

Khosravi was arrested on July 29, 2025, by IRGC Intelligence agents and released on August 9 after posting 2 billion tomans bail.

In June, agents raided her home without a warrant, seizing personal belongings while her young daughter was present. Khosravi’s complaint against the agents was dismissed by the Behbahan Prosecutor’s Office.

A former Ph.D. student in Education, Khosravi was expelled from Payame Noor University in Bandar Imam after the 2009 protests. Her former husband, writer and researcher Hadi Hakim Shafa’i, was also named in the indictment but has not been summoned.
