Liposarcoma in the holy grail of oncology - the Plenary Session at the ASCO Annual Meeting 2026. Congratulations to Mark A. Dickson and all SARC041 investigators!
Sandra P. D’Angelo, Alexander N. Shoustari, and Mark Yarchoan will discuss "Harnessing Immunotherapy for Rare Cancers" in a plenary session at the AACR Conference on Rare Cancers (July 18-20, Vancouver).

These data support continued biomarker driven development of CDK4/6 based combinations in DDLPS to improve patient selection, deepen responses, and building more effective therapeutic strategies for this rare sarcoma. #Sarcoma#Liposarcoma#Immunotherapy@MSK_DeptOfMed@WTapMD

Proud to share our phase 2 study of palbociclib + retifanlimab in advanced dedifferentiated liposarcoma #DDLPS. This work builds on MSK’s longstanding effort to improve outcomes in DDLPS — from CDK4/6 inhibitor monotherapy, to immunotherapy, to rational combinations.
This study is part of a broader MSK DDLPS legacy — from Dr. Mark Dickson’s foundational palbociclib and abemaciclib work (@ASCO 2026 plenary), to immunotherapy studies, to current rational combinations including palbociclib + MEK inhibition led by Dr. Babatunde and Dr. Tap.
This study helps move sarcoma immunotherapy toward biomarker-driven precision care. By integrating circulating immune profiles, tumor microenvironment features, and digital pathology, we identify signals that may help predict who is most likely to benefit from ICB.
