In a race against time, the Indian Air Force airlifted a live liver from Command Hospital, Lucknow to Army Hospital (Research & Referral) New Delhi. Mission accomplished in under 4 hours safely within the critical 6-hour transplant window.
This priceless gift of life came from a 55-year-old mother of a serving soldier.
