@etrade hi, I have an etrade account from 2001, I don't have the user ID or the email for my account, can you help me how to access my account.. I have the paper statement from 2003..
@makemytripcare#mmtcares is the biggest lie ever told.. I booked a ticket through your app with a business account. There is now no way to get a refund, all your channels are useless..
@makemytrip you have the absolute worst customer service possible... I will never book another ticket through you.. just so you know in the last 12 months I have booked tickets in excess of int 10 lacs.. but you are never getting another rupee from me
Let me put it straight
- I love India 🇮🇳
- I had several opportunities to leave, but I chose to stay back in India
- Irrespective of the party in power, I support development
- I pay huge amount of taxes every year
- I support innovation & digitisation
My questions are just constructive basic human needs after paying so much of taxes every year
- Clean Air
- Drinking water (non water mafia led)
- Pothole free roads
- Clean Fuel (not impacting my car)
- Unadulterated food and medicines
- Transparent governance and law
I am assuming these are not skyrocket innovations. It’s basics, just human rights
Jai Hind 🙏

#Mumbai#Pune@nitin_gadkari ji when will you charge ₹5000 fine to truck drivers who drive in right most lane of Mumbai Pune Expressway and ₹3000 to truck drivers who continuously drive in 2nd lane from the right, specially in ghat section.
It is no use in constructing wider roads if we have horrible drivers
Nothing has changed on the ground. Unfortunately nothing will change, 10000 dog bite cases per day will continue. Local bodies don’t have the resources, funds or the know how to deal with the #StreetDog issue. It’s the common person who walks to do his/her daily chores who is most affected, not those who travel by cars & live in gated & compounded homes. @PMOIndia
India 🇮🇳 gets just ~1 crore foreign tourists a year.
That’s less than Bangkok (3.2 Crore) alone gets.
And this, in a country with:
🕌 40 UNESCO sites
🏔️ The Himalayas
🌴 Goa, Kerala and Andaman beaches
🍛 The best food on Earth
🧘♂️ Yoga, Ayurveda, Rich Culture, so many Festivals
We have everything, except tourists.
Now imagine if India touched 10 crore+ foreign visitors every year
Here’s what happens 👇
💰 Billions in forex inflow
🏨 Lakhs of new jobs in hotels, taxis, crafts, food
🏡 More income in small towns & villages
🚆 Better infrastructure across tourist circuits
🌍 And a stronger global image for India
Tourism is soft power + real economy combined.
So what’s stopping us?
❌ Dirty public spaces
❌ Aggressive touting & scams
❌ Patchy infrastructure
❌ Poor marketing abroad
❌ Complicated visitor experience
We don’t need to reinvent the Taj Mahal.
We just need to make India cleaner, simpler, and kinder to our guests.
Solutions are simple:
✅ Keep top 50 tourist zones spotless.
✅ Train taxi drivers, guides & shopkeepers.
✅ Make e-visa truly seamless.
✅ Launch an “India Smiles Back” global campaign.
✅ Turn hospitality into national pride again.
If we fix these, India won’t just have 10 crore foreign visitors,
We’ll have 100 crore stories told around the world. 🌏✨
Because the world already loves India.
We just need to make visiting it a joy, not a challenge. 💛
There is just no will in Pune administrators.. I think the pathetic state of the city is only the symptom, the disease is systemic corruption and nothing else
Pune never fails to impress: beautiful city, great enterprising people and inspiring energy!
The Defence Committee meeting was productive, but traffic discipline needs urgent attention.
It took 1.3 hours to cover just 20 km to the airport — what a waste of time for every Punekar on the road each day.
Rash driving, no helmets, rule violations and excessive honking are serious concerns that can be fixed. The @PuneCityTraffic must act with passion and purpose, and citizens must cooperate.
With better enforcement, use of smart cameras and civic discipline, Pune can truly become a model city for road safety.

Great to speak with India PM @narendramodi@OfficialINDIAai to share our plans for the first-ever Google AI hub in Visakhapatnam, a landmark development.
This hub combines gigawatt-scale compute capacity, a new international subsea gateway, and large-scale energy infrastructure. Through it we will bring our industry-leading technology to enterprises and users in India, accelerating AI innovation and driving growth across the country.
What do Punekars want from elected representatives? Garbage free, potholes free roads, managed by actual police on the ground & some accountability.
What do Punekars get? Endless flex hoardings with hardik & अनेक शुभेच्छा on every festival, almost as if they were elected only to appear on hoardings!
I was fortunate to graduate in 2005, when H-1B norms were far more favorable in the US. But things changed quickly in 2008 during the financial crisis — many Indian students felt upset, lost, and stuck.
Some eventually returned home, and years later, even those of us who still had the visa made the same choice. Today, we’ve built fulfilling lives here — with tremendous professional opportunities and the deeper joy of creating in our own country. Personally, I wouldn’t want to go back — at all.
So, if you’re on a US campus right now feeling shaken or disheartened, I know what that feels like. But remember: when one door closes, many others open back home. And India of 2025 is a far more exciting place than India of 2005 ever was.
Chin up. Aao, ab laut chalen! 🇮🇳
