It was a pleasure welcoming a delegation of international professionals from India to Albany County as part of the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program.

We had a great conversation about the role local government can play in supporting economic development, digital infrastructure, workforce growth and sustainable public infrastructure, as well as opportunities for U.S.-India collaboration on artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.

Visits like this are a great opportunity to share what we’re doing here in Albany County while learning from leaders working on similar challenges around the world.
