There is a reason that little beeper carries so much weight.

Hezbollah terrorists were increasingly using pagers instead of mobile phones because they believed mobile phones could be tracked or intercepted by Israeli intelligence.

The idea was simple: stay away from smartphones, use low-tech communication, and make it harder for Israel to locate and monitor them.

But what Hezbollah didn’t know was that these pagers had already been tampered with before they were delivered to them.

In September 2024, thousands of pagers suddenly started beeping across Lebanon. And then they exploded. Several terrorists were killed and injured in the blasts.
