Dear Mr Javed Akhtar. Alhamdulillah. The quote is from Maulana Azad's Calcutta Speech. The speech was published in Khutbat-e-Azad. Here is the link: https://t.co/yXkvYTTW1j
The Maulana is exhorting the Indian Muslims to unite with Muslims around the world and save the Caliphate. He begins by stating that all relationships in the world can break down, father can turn against son, brother against brother, mother can shun her child but the relationship of a Muslim with a Muslim can never be severed.
The Maulana then continues: if even a grain of the soul of Islam is still alive in its followers, then if a thorn enters the foot of a Turk on the field of battle, I swear by Allah that no Muslim of Hindustan is a Muslim until he feels that prick in his own heart. For the Millat of Islam is one body, and Muslims, wherever they are, are its limbs. If a finger of the hand is cut, the rest of the body cannot remain at peace until it has felt the blow. This is not rhetoric. It is the plain meaning of the well-known hadith which Imam Ahmad related: the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said that the likeness of the believers in their mutual love, mercy and compassion is that of one body: when one limb complains, the whole body responds with sleeplessness and fever. And there is the other hadith, related by Abu Musa al-Ash‘ari: The believer to the believer is like a building; each part supports the other. This is the first and last distinguishing mark of the people of Islam, to which the Qur’an itself has pointed.
Then, to reinforce Muslim unity, Maulana Azad provides his commentary after quoting the Quranic verse 48: 29.
The Messenger of Allah and those with him are severe against the Kafirs, merciful among themselves.
Whatever hardness they have is for falsehood and unbelief; whatever love and tenderness they have is for truth, sincerity, Islam and Tawhid. So be extremely hard against disbelievers but extremely sympathetic and kind among ourselves; take heed, then, and do not pass over this as if you had not heard it.
P.S. This is the second time I am enlightening you on your heroes and their lifelong sociopolitical stances. The first time was when you refused to believe that books were banned, editors sacked, films blocked, and Majrooh jailed, under Nehru's rule. Please don't ask me about Gandhi next - the Mahatma, not Rahul, though both are probably your heroes. Cheers, WDTP

Numbers 5 to 9 are the sons of Modi's uncle Narasinhdas Modi, making them PM Modi's paternal cousins.
Number 10, Ramesh, is the son of Jagjivandas Modi.
Number 11, Bhargav, is the son of PM Modi's uncle Kantibhai.
Finally, number 12, Bipin, is the son of Modi's youngest uncle, Jayantilal Modi.
To all revolutionary journalists on Youtube:
Please meet all the individuals on this list.
I kindly request that you feature them on camera. Go to Gujarat and showcase the real stories of PM Modi's brother Arvind, who deals in scrap, and Ashok, who sells kites.
And yes, when in Vadnagar, don’t forget to fill up your car with petrol from Bharatbhai, who works at the Nyayra petrol pump there.
One of the Prime Minister's brothers works there filling petrol.
Everyone will see how PM Modi's brother is filling petrol in your car. If you get a chance, you can also buy some old tin utensils from Arvindbhai.
And yes, you might also spot PM Modi’s sister-in-law selling groceries in the Ghee-Kanta market of Vadnagar.
While most politicians focus entirely on selfish gains and the well-being of their families,
Narendra Modi works solely for the country and nothing else.
The Great Grand Children of Rajaram Phule, the elder brother of Jyotiba Phule, are Swayamsevaks.
Noobs and Beginners in Indian Politics may not know this.
None of the PakistanI parrots like Zubair, Swara, Sayema, Rana have opened their mouths about the murderous strike on Afghan civilians by Pakistan. But they all have time for Gaza
Because?
• Gaza is profitable
• Afghanistan isn’t
• Pak trolls will turn on them
• won’t get talking points
The killing of Dipu Chandra Das in Bangladesh, a Dalit Hindu, has shocked the conscience. He was attacked by extremists and later died after being set on fire.
Many will also remember the tragic murder of Haragobindo Das and his son Chandan Das in Murshidabad, West Bengal, who were similarly dragged from their home and killed by Muslim radicals.
These incidents point to a disturbing pattern of targeted violence against Hindus that cannot be ignored.
The safety and dignity of Hindus in West Bengal must be a priority. Mamata Banerjee’s political calculations should never come before law, order, and human rights. Silence or denial only emboldens those who believe violence is acceptable.
Ignoring the suffering of Bengali Hindus comes at a serious cost. It is time to demand accountability, justice, and protection for them.
@AirIndiaX, today one of your pilots, Capt. Virender Sejwal, assaulted me physically at T1, Delhi Airport.
Here are the facts of the matter,:
🔸 Me & my family were guided to use the security check that the staff uses (also the PRM check), because we had a 4 month old baby in a stroller.
🔸 The staff was cutting the queue ahead of me. On calling them out, Capt. Virender, who himself was doing the same thing, asked me if I was anpadh (uneducated), and couldn't read the signs that said this entry was for staff.
🔸 A verbal scuffle broke out.
🔸 Not able to excercise restraint, the AIX pilot proceeded to physically assault me, leaving me bloody. The blood in the photograph (first comment) on his shirt is also mine.
Here are my issues with the whole thing:
🔹 My holiday is ruined. The first thing I have done here is see a doctor.
🔹 My 7 year old daughter, who saw her father get assaulted brutally, is still traumatized & scared.
🔹 I have no clue how @DGCAIndia & @AirIndiaX can allow such pilots to fly. If they can't keep their cool in a scuffle, can they be trusted with the lives of hundreds of people in the sky?
🔹 How can @DelhiAirport get away with such mismanagement, combining staff entry with passengers carrying infants, creating chaos at a sensitive security area? I thought Airports were safe places!
🔹 I was forced to write a letter stating that I will not pursue this matter further ... It was either write that letter, or miss my flight and throw the 1.2 lakhs holiday bookings down the drain. @DelhiPolice, why can't I file a complaint after coming back? Must I sacrifice my money too, to seek justice? Will the CCTV footage disappear in the 2 days till I make it back to Delhi?
To my friends & well wishers, I am pretty shaken, but nothing permanent. Can't say the same about my daughter though. 😢
Breaking the Myth:
“Ambedkar Was Not the First Dalit to Earn a Foreign Doctorate”
In my country, many Indians had already earned Doctor of Science and Ph.D. degrees long before Ambedkar. From the Dalit community itself, even before Ambedkar, we had:
Rajani Kanta Das: (No. 12)
He was a prominent labor economist. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin in 1917 (he was the first Indian to earn a Ph.D. in Economics in the United States). Later, he worked with the International Labor Organization (ILO).
He belonged to the Namasudra community of Bengal, which is a Scheduled Caste.
Meghnad Saha: (No. 17)
He earned a https://t.co/C2Hn54jZfK. in Physics from the University of Cambridge in 1920.
Caste background: Meghnad Saha was born in 1893 into a poor family of the Sunri caste in the Bengal Presidency. Traditionally, Sunris were liquor-makers, and society considered them “untouchable” or lower caste. The Sunri caste is included in the Scheduled Castes (SC) list in West Bengal.
Based on this, what does it tell you.?
Even before Ambedkar, India had Dalits who earned Doctor of Science and Ph.D. degrees from foreign universities. Ambedkar was not the first.
I struggled a lot to collect this information.
I worked for almost a month.
If anyone has the courage to prove that the information I collected is fake, let them try.

Whenever any Hindu festival starts, Hindu feminist girls begin comparing themselves to goddesses and start hating men.
You all are not goddesses.

Co-Incidence? There was a rumor that Umar Khalid and Kanhaiya Kumar had crush on the same girl from Kashmir
World is measuring economic parameters of growth. . .
And @BSF_India is still stuck with ‘Kiski taang upar gayee?’
This daily nautanki is an insult to the very solemn military ceremony of Beating the Retreat.
This drama MUST stop immediately.

It has come to the notice of ICSSR that an individual holding responsible position at CSDS, an ICSSR-funded research institute, has made media statements that had to be retracted subsequently citing glitches in data analysis regarding elections in Maharashtra.
Futher, the institute has published media stories based on biased interpretation of the SIR exercise by the Election Commission of India.
ICSSR holds the Indian constitution in highest esteem. Election Commision of India is a high constitutional body which has been holding free and fair elections in the largest democracy of world for decades together.
ICSSR takes serious cognizance of the data manipulation by CSDS and its attempt to create a narrative with the intention of undermining the sanctity of the Election Commision of India. This is a gross violation of the Grant-in-Aid rules of ICSSR, and ICSSR shall issue a Show Cause Notice to the Institute.
