همین ۴۰ روز پیش مطمئن شده بودید که ایران با آمریکا بسته و جنگ نمی‌شه. دو روز بعدش نه‌تنها جنگ شد که خامنه‌ای رو همون اول زدن و جشن گرفتید و مطمئن شدید ج.ا کارش تمومه. مجتبی رو رهبر کردن ناامید شدید که چیزی عوض نشده. جنگ ادامه پیدا کرد و «نشانه‌های سقوط» دیدید و باز مطمئن شدید که اینا رفتنی‌ان. حالا آتش‌بس موقت شد و باز دوباره ناامید شدید که ج.ا می‌مونه سر کار.

من هم همه‌ی این حس‌ها رو داشتم. منتها سعی می‌کنم وزن بیش از حد به حسم ندم. نمی‌دونم هم چی می‌شه - احتمالاً هیچ‌کس نمی‌دونه - ولی چیزی که واضحه اینه که خیلی چیزها داره تغییر می‌کنه (حتی بهتر و بدترش هم روشن نیست) و همون‌طور که ۲ ماه پیش نمی‌دونستیم اوضاع قراره اینطوری پیش بره، تصویر دقیق دو ماه دیگه هم روشن نیست.

عدم اطمینان هم سخته چون ذهن دنبال ثباته و سعی می‌کنیم با پیش‌بینی یک ثبات ذهنی ایجاد کنیم؛ ولی واقعیت اینه که ما تو سر سیاست‌مداران نیستیم که بدونیم چه تصمیمی می‌گیرن. جنس اتفاقات یک حدی از تصادفی بودن در خودش داره و خیلی ساده‌لوحانه‌ست که تصور کنیم «همه چیز از قبل به طور قطعی قابل پیش‌بینیه». دنبال قطعیت نگردید، چون وجود نداره.

اینم که می‌بینید بعضی‌ها «درست» پیش‌بینی می‌کنند واسه اینه که صدها هزار نفر دارن پیش‌بینی می‌کنند و طبیعیه که بالاخره بعضی از این پیش‌بینی‌ها درست از آب درمیاد.

باید به خودمون یادآوری کنیم دائم که رویای جمعی همه‌مون آزادی ایرانه و همه‌ی این بیم و امیدها و ناامیدی‌هامون هم برای اون رویاست. همه‌اش جزوی از مسیره. مسیر دشواری هم هست این راه دشوار آزادی... اما شمع امید رو روشن باید نگه داشت.

In its zeal to promote universal vaccination, @gavi, the Vaccine Alliance has neglected the key issue of vaccine safety. When vaccine safety issues have come before GAVI, it has treated them not as a patient health problem, but as a public relations problem.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, GAVI partnered with the World Health Organization to recommend best practices for social media companies to silence dissenting views and to stifle free speech and legitimate questions during that period.

GAVI should consider the best science available, even when that science contradicts established paradigms. It should define success not just in terms of the number of vaccines delivered, but on their rigorously measured overall impacts.

I call on GAVI to re-earn the public trust and to justify the $8 billion dollars that America has provided in funding since 2001. Until that happens the United States won’t contribute more to GAVI. Business as usual is over.

I am directing the FDA commissioner to start the process of changing the rules to eliminate the self-affirmed GRAS pathway for new ingredients. I am also calling on the @US_FDA and @NIH continue to conduct and improve post-market assessments of GRAS chemicals currently in our food so we can rapidly identify the compounds that are making Americans so sick, and so that American consumers and regulators can make informed decisions.
