@jeremys@WestsideAsians Turns out he did answer but it landed on my spams (but he twitter message didn’t - amazing what tech can do). Haven’t read the answer yet, but wanted to set the record straight.
@jeremys@WestsideAsians Fair enough. I’d give it a try. He does seem to be on the common sense side when it comes to school programs (iirc he was in favor of the board recall). Would love to get his support to increase school spots in the Sunset (longest waitlists in the city).
@jeremys@WestsideAsians Public schools is the big one for me. The sunset has the longest waitlist and I have experienced first hand not being able to get a spot for my kids. Not sure Joel can help but he hasn’t answered messages I sent via his website about it.
@jeremys@WestsideAsians I get your point on this video. I guess I was referring to the broader recall effort. I think Joel is genuine in his passion for the sunset but his constituents have valid concerns too (not just on prop K), and I am not yet convinced he is addressing them.
@jeremys@WestsideAsians I live in the Sunset and I don’t see this as a political stunt. I initially supported Joel but I am unsure now. I don’t find it particularly helpful to demonize one camp though. Curious why you’re so involved on this issue though (assuming you probably don’t live in the Sunset?).
My absurdist short story “Sit and Spin”just came out in the latest issue of @MagpieZine!
