@troybison@FishyFishkin@MichaelRosenYes Do you believe this to be true in SEND schools?Children with poor behaviour in state schools are not presenting as non-verbal. Do you visit schools often? The case Michael is talking about was in a SEND school where no doubt many of the children had profound learning difficulties
@troybison@FishyFishkin@MichaelRosenYes Not all children with autism are non-verbal… do you think there might have been another place where non-verbal children were rather than in your schools? Do you think children are non-verbal because we don’t have high enough ‘expectations’ ? Do you have any experience with SEND?
@FishyFishkin@MichaelRosenYes Sorry if I’ve misunderstood but are you implying people choose to be non-verbal and in the ‘old days’ everyone spoke because they were too embarrassed not to? That talking or not, for autistic children, is a choice?
@NaomiRipon1111 @TheGreenParty So it’s great that he’s trying to make it fairer for those less well off than him surely? Wouldn’t it be great if more rich people were arguing to end wealth inequality?
The lady at the charity shop today told me that she wishes people would clear out their children's old toys in the lead up to Christmas rather than after because she always sees a number of parents in the days before Christmas looking for toys for their little ones who might be strapped for cash. She said there's very rarely anything in just before, but that they get inundated with toys in the days after.
And it really made me think about it in a way I never would have before.
If you know your child is going to get lots of presents from Father Christmas this year, by clearing out your cupboards a few days early, you could make another child's Christmas a lot more special too.
Saw this & thought I'd repost.
The idea that all Jews are represented by racist hooligan Maccabi Tel Aviv fans is antisemitic.
Legia Warsaw fans barred from Villa Park, not anti-Polish. Frankfurt fans barred from Napoli, not anti-German.
Our political-media class cannot be consistent and has lost its mind.
@ninninayo @Brink_Thinker I get that but the guy would have died. Surely, his life is more important; I can’t imagine anyone would think otherwise. No one would be able to live with the guilt of making a different choice
@JimmyjamesYT@ThatTimWalker Why do you think immigrants are responsible for the success or failure of this country? They are a small percentage of the population and have no more control over policy than everyone else. It is the people in power who make this country succeed or fail, not immigrants.
@TheGriftReport So all the women and children in Palestine deserve to die or have their homes destroyed or live through a famine because of the way a minority of a faith treat women? Not all Palestinians are Muslim either, if that matters to you
@HelCol2025@LBC I think millions is a bit of a stretch. And why do you feel this way? Is it because you keep reading and hearing that’s how you should feel by people who seek to gain from fearing and hating immigrants rather than the real culprits of misery - the rich?
The UK 'israel' lobby has pressured my government and medical board into referring me to a tribunal hearing to try and suspend me for opposing genocide. This is Britain. We are occupied.
Hi. My name is Rahmeh. I am a part-Palestinian British NHS doctor. I am facing the suspension of my medical licence. This is not the result of any professional failure, but the outcome of a coordinated lobbying campaign against me because of my public stance against the genocide in Gaza being carried out with my tax pounds.
I march—having attended over 300 protests in the last 23 months—advocate and educate online, and have taken direct action.
For this, the 'israel' lobby has:
-defamed me in the papers
-complained to my medical board (@gmcuk)—resulting in a nine-month investigation that I won
- held my career back by two years
- had my Instagram suspended
- threatened my family and friends,
and complained to the GMC again. Dissatisfied that I continue to advocate, they pressured the British government and the GMC to refer me directly to an Interim Orders Tribunal (IOT) (@the_mpts) to try to suspend me and revoke my medical license, bypassing the normal investigative process by claiming it is 'in the public interest'.
Their goal is to force me into silence by taking my career and income.
I have lost more than 50 friends in Gaza. My friends have had 20 to 100 members of their families murdered by the IOF.
Our careers are not worth more than Palestinian lives. 'israel' bombed a hospital twice, live on air, murdering journalists and medics—this very week. My friend, a medical student, was thrown across the hospital by the blast but thankfully survived. The IOF have slaughtered over 1,900 Palestinian medics.
The UK 'israel' lobby is trying to suspend me because I am against its genocidal entity and the jewish supremacy (zionism) that empowers this lobby to do this to me and my fellow Brits. My British Health Secretary, @wesstreeting—who has taken £70,000 from the lobby—regularly meets with them but refuses to meet British healthcare workers. He even blocked me on Instagram after I tagged him in a post asking for a meeting to address these attacks.
If they suspend me, it will be to shield 'israel' at the expense of the British public. I'm not the first and I won't be the last doctor they have done this to.
We must free Britain from the corrupt influence of the 'israel' lobby, which undermines our freedom, our democracy, our sovereignty, and our humanity.
We will not stop. We will fight. We will win.

Dear BBC, your news report included rubbish spouted by Mr Farage. It's irresponsible to repeat lies, especially if they're designed to forment racist crimes.
You should always note that
1. There's no "illegal" way of seeking asylum. We already deport those who fail asylum.
@profprofMFL @Headteacherchat A great idea in principle but unless you ensure the job is small enough to be done by 5, it is pointless & can make it more stressful forcing people to work at home. Personally, I like to keep work &home completely separate &would hate to work at home because school closes at 5.
