Since there's an opportunity to assess problems and plan improvements (over the upcoming 5 days of rail service) to implement for the following closures, in addition to ensuring an ample fleet of shuttles, placing temporary refuse containers at stops should be on the list.

Hi, @MBTA. This past week of Green Line D branch #YankeeLine shuttles has been mostly disastrous: overcrowding, 20+ min waits, drivers not knowing the route/stop locations. Now a version of this is happening at several stops... @TownofBrookline @NewtonMAMayor @universalhub @WCVB

Thanks to @MBTA for implementing common sense routing of D line shuttle buses to Pearl Street in Brookline Village. Lines suggest that more buses are needed though

Monday 9/26 morning update. Spouse B missed 3 shuttles over the 6min walk to Fenway station, then waited 14min for next arrival. Spouse A tried the 60 bus strategy, but then waited 17min for shuttle at Chestnut Hill. "6-7min" can't be an average of shuttles over a time interval.

With only 10 days of GL D branch rail service over the next month - @RedSox & @BCFootball games, @HOCR #HeadOfTheCharles weekend, and a month's worth of paying D Line commuters - this demands attention and strategic planning, not overfilled, inconsistent shuttle service. Fix it.
