A few weeks ago I visited a young Palestinian student who was shot with two of his friends for speaking Arabic in Vermont because the criminal who heard them decided it’s a crime punishable by death. The bullet went through his spine and now he is on a wheelchair .
When I took a photo with him he was wearing a jersey of a football club in Chile called Palestino. A club that was founded by Palestinians who were kicked out of their homeland and decided to carry the memory and tradition all the way to the end of the world in Chile . The club sent me this T shirt and I am very grateful for this wonderful gesture. Get well soon HISHAM . P.S. I am wearing the shorts for the Egyptian National team from AFCON 2008. They fit nicely together . Good luck for Egypt and Palestine in the African and Asian Cup . Both have very important games next week. #cease_fire_now

New York Times correspondent Patrick Kingsley reports that Hamas has built up to 450 miles of tunnels in Gaza. He knows this because Israeli officials told him. FACT: The total tunnel length of New York City’s famous sprawling, ramified subway system is 443 miles. FACT: If the Israeli figure is true, then, every 1,250 feet of Gaza along its width, there is another 25-mile-long tunnel stretching across its length. Kingsley didn’t consult a single engineer on the plausibility of this Israeli claim. He knows that Hamas tunnels are Israel’s prime alibi to escape the charge of genocide at the ICJ: if Israel is carpet bombing Gaza, that’s because Hamas tunnels are literally everywhere. If Kingsley is not a whore of war, who is?
