As per reports, American Ukrainian climber Anna Guttu and her Sherpa have lost their lives in an avalanche on #Shishapangma this morning. Anna was vying to climb her only remaining 8000er after having summited 13 of them. Two more climbers Gina Marie and Tenjen Lama are said to be missing as well. Rest of the teams on the mountain are currently making their way to the Basecamp.

This is an accident above 7000m where conditions never in favor, and risks remain there. We should at least not start this debate at very time a tragedy happen. I understand critics need it 😪

Pakistan's young climbing prodigy #ShehrozeKashif's quest to become the world's youngest summiteer of #8000ers continue.
