Botanix is coming to Asia!
Meet the team, dive into the Spiderchain tech, and explore how Botanix unlocks Bitcoin yield and more to power the new Bitcoin economy.
All assets should settle on Bitcoin and stablecoins are no exception.
Bridged @USDC is coming to Botanix through @Circle's Bridged USDC Standard, to fuel DeFi’s return to sound money and censorship-resistant infrastructure.
True to Bitcoin’s ethos of decentralization, @BotanixLabs kicks off with a federation of independent node operators.
Proud to power the future of permissionless infrastructure — in association with @UTXOmgmt.
Re: OP_RETURN, I have always been of the opinion that sidechain builders shouldn’t influence bitcoin core. Bitcoin on its base layer is money and should be only focused on money. Let all other functionalities be built around it.
Adding in increased OP_RETURN sizes is possible today and there is a workaround. I don’t believe changing standardness rules to make it easier makes sense as an argument. If an increasing majority starts using different transaction rails, that would be a different situation but that’s not the case today. It is not needed for everyday users running bitcoin core.
Yes, it would make the base code cleaner but considering the controversy it created, further alienating a part of the community does not make sense for bitcoin right now.
Yes, @Mailchimp shut down our account.
Why?
Because we build on Bitcoin.
Censorship like this doesn’t stop us — it makes us build harder.
Bitcoin will continue to grow, with or without permission.
Remember:
“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.”
@Mailchimp is the past. Use @sendxio, @getdrip, or @beehiiv for the future.
"I absolutely believe this will happen over the next coming years. Today, in the people's minds, Bitcoin is digital gold.[...]
Bitcoin can be so much more and will be so much more. It's just first principle logical thinking, and the question is... how is it gonna look like? And which infrastructure do you need to actually make this happen?"
