@EBL2017 That’s also why I’m not too disappointed. Arsenal already have Eze to fill the creative role. Missing Rogers hurts because of his unique profile, but it also creates the opportunity to prioritise an elite left winger with pace and directness instead.

@EBL2017 The bigger issue isn’t Eze vs Rogers, it’s replacing Martinelli’s profile. Arsenal can replace creativity much easier than they can replace elite pace and runs in behind. That’s why Barcola always made more footballing sense to me if Martinelli were sold.

Barcola is the best football fit, while Julián Álvarez is the blockbuster opportunity if the market unexpectedly opens.

My view: the priority now isn’t adding more names—it’s protecting the core. Saka, Rice and Saliba have carried huge workloads over the last two seasons.
