@arafatkamaal I am looking for cumulative returns of 5-10 percent net(deducting inflation, tax etc..). have been able to do that for 10 yes happy with my choices. One can make much more returns in stocks as well, but it depends on ones personal goals and risk level, time investment

@arafatkamaal Agree I am evaluating my returns based on at least 10 yrs. Overall my stock investments have been much better than real estate. As I said earlier my real estate investment was done without much research compared to stocks and funds.

@arafatkamaal I am not a real estate person for me it's too cumbersome and riskier than market. Even if If I am in India will buy only to live, already have some real estate investments. Diversifying my investments in shares, funds(20 percent currently) in US(major), UK and india..

@arafatkamaal Very difficult to objectively measure actions by political leaders and then make everyone accept that's the truth. Even when there's an objective measurement can argue around it e.g GDP as measure of economic growth.

@arafatkamaal People's perception about medical studies in Russia and Ukraine is mostly based on what they have seen..I know three guys who did medicine in Russia because they faired very poorly in high school i.e 50 percent. Would expect this to be the common case
