It’s very similar to what happened with YouTube. Instead of spending thousands on video production, anyone could create videos now for cheap. But not everyone is making money or creating good content. And movies and TV shows are still around. However, there will be new types of apps that will probably appear, like how YouTube led to short form video content and podcasts.

@hkarthik I believe Big Tech and Tier 2 are still conducting leet code style interviews even with AI. Don’t think anyone has figured out and implemented how to properly evaluate the new “AI Engineer“ at scale yet, or modernized their interview process.

@patrickbetdavid Also from 2003-Now, franchise values are $4B+. Super max players make $70m+ a season.. if LBJ really ruined the league then it should look like the late 70s when league almost went bankrupt. NBA all star game is the worst way to assess success of league.
