We were proud to join fellow Level 2 Special Pathogens Treatment Centers across Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Region 2 at a special onboarding symposium hosted by Bellevue Hospital in New York City last week.
We are honored to be selected as a recipient of the Special Pathogen Treatment, Assessment, and Network Development (STAND) Award. The STAND Award is a $500,000 grant from @NETEC, the nation’s leader in special pathogen preparedness and response.
📣 NETEC announces 54 hospitals nationwide selected for the NSPS STAND Award. Each facility will receive up to $500K to strengthen its ability to safely care for patients with high-consequence infectious diseases.

A patient in Missouri has tested positive for H5 bird flu, but unlike previous cases there is no known link to animals, according to state and federal officials. The source of the infection is still unknown https://t.co/O44Msx0dLo
