@michalmalewicz idk I've tried everything I could from mlx, it's garbage on any real usage, especially if you run on a constraint hardware, which is always. Yes for the first 2s the raw speed it nice, but then it falls completely. llama.cpp ftw Apple AI is in the same spot as Apple gaming

@0xSero yeah, it definitely feels so, have you tried fine-tuning them? I've got a very comfortable results with slot ssd cache, but I don't think models are trained to aggressively switch small context and with 25k cache it's just not enough
