HACF is one of my favorite TV shows. Think the only show I've binge-watched start to end multiple times without getting bored. The focus on character was an aspect that appealed to me - each given space to breathe and an arc that doesn't feel contrived.

For me, "Halt and Catch Fire" has been much more enduring than Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Mad Men, the Sopranos, Mr. Robot, or the Americans. HACF is so much more centered on character than plot, and didn't need to be fantastical. Fewer "that makes no sense" rewatch moments.
