Someone asked what advice founders ignore. That they:
1. Should change their name.
2. Should launch fast.
3. Shouldn't treat fundraising as success.
4. Shouldn't assume they can raise because it's time to.
5. Should fire bad people quickly.
6. Shouldn't talk to acquirers.
If I could send my 18 year old self a message, it would have three parts:
1. Prestige is often mistaken. Follow curiosity instead.
2. There's no way to avoid hard work. It's not sufficient, but it is necessary.
3. Don't take your parents for granted.
The HHS claims to have explained the autism epidemic.
Their answer? Folic acid and Tylenol.
Their answer is wrong, their evidence is bad, and they're avoiding actually ending the autism epidemic.
