I think about this every single day.
What happened in Singapore should be mandatory study in schools.
It's the single greatest wealth creation in the history of capitalism.
Why Lee Kuan Yew was an absolute genius🧵
Messi basking in feeling of normality while getting searched at airport security.
Reminds me of how the only time Ronaldo was able to be a normal dude for a few hours was that time he put on a padded fat suit and fake beard/wig while clowning people with a soccer ball in Madrid.
🔥 Yo, check out this 19-year-old dude cooking fried rice in a full suit 😂
His name’s Lu, from Yantai in Shandong. He started helping at his family’s night market stall at 17, and now at 19 he’s running the show — dressed like he’s going to a fancy dinner instead of slinging street food.
Every night he rolls up in a sharp suit and tie, hair slicked back, and starts flipping massive woks with flames shooting everywhere. High-knee stance, egg catches, the whole show. People go crazy for it. He bangs out 200+ plates a night, each one done in about 3 minutes for like 10 yuan (~$1.40). That adds up to around 50,000 yuan a month (~$7k–$9k USD). Yeah, he’s the main one taking care of the family now.
He tried the suit one day just to look more “proper” and it blew up. Everyone calls him the “Western Suit Fried Rice Brother” and half the comments say he looks like Sanji from One Piece. When folks doubted the money, he even went live to show the real numbers.
This guy’s out here turning regular fried rice into a whole vibe with nothing but hard work and serious style.
Absolute legend 👔🍳
“WHY DOES LIFE HURT SO MUCH?”
A man asked the Buddha with eyes heavy with life.
The Buddha looked at him quietly—not to answer immediately, but to understand.
Then he said,
“You are holding on to things that are meant to pass.”
The man frowned. “Holding on to what?”
The Buddha gently pointed to a nearby river.
“Look at that water,” he said.
“Yesterday’s river is gone.
This moment’s river is already moving.
If you try to hold it in your hands… it slips away.
And yet, you suffer—not because the river flows,
but because you wish it would stay.”
The man was silent.
The Buddha continued—
“You cling to people…
expecting them to remain the same.
But people change, just like seasons.”
“You cling to moments…
wanting joy to last forever.
But even the most beautiful sunset fades into night.”
“You cling to expectations…
how life should be,
instead of seeing how it is.”
The man lowered his head.
“But why does it hurt so deeply?” he asked again.
The Buddha picked up a small pebble and held it tightly.
“If I hold this lightly,” he said,
“there is no pain.”
Then he clenched his fist hard.
“But if I grip it tightly… it begins to hurt.”
He looked at the man and said,
“The pain is not from the stone.
It is from the tightness of your grip.”
The man’s eyes softened.
“So what should I do?” he whispered.
The Buddha smiled.
“Learn to hold everything with an open hand.”
“Love people… but don’t try to own them.
Enjoy moments… but don’t demand they stay.
Have hopes… but don’t let them become chains.”
“Let things come.
Let things go.
And remain present with what is.”
The man sat there for a long time,
watching the river flow.
For the first time,
he didn’t try to stop it.
And in that moment—
a small, quiet peace found him.
Because peace begins
the moment you stop gripping
what is already gone.

🚨 Actor R Madhavan advises removing 4 daily habits from home if you want success in life.
He said --
1) Remove fights and constant arguments. He said a home filled with conflict cannot grow.
2) Remove complaining. When people keep complaining, they overlook what they already have.
3) Remove Laziness. It reduces opportunities and slows down progress.
4) Remove clutter. Keeping the home clean and organised can create a sense of calm and help improve focus.
The biggest gamble of your life? Social Security.
The system tells you to wait.
Take it at 62: $1,800/mo.
Wait till 70: $3,000/mo.
Sounds like a no-brainer, right? Run the math.
To actually profit from waiting, you have to live past 82.
The average US life expectancy? 79.
With the garbage in our food and the stress we carry today, making it to 82 is a massive bet.
Are you taking the money at 62 and running, or holding out for the bigger check?
Charlie Munger:
“It's very counterproductive for an individual to feel like a victim, even if he is one. The best attitude is just to be cheerful about everything and keep plugging along.”
