Having read "Anger Management: The Troubled Diplomatic Relationship between India and Pakistan" by @Ajaybis Sir, I can say it is an impeccable account of India–Pakistan relations since 1947.

Across its eight sections, the book is packed with significant anecdotes and diplomatic insights, explaining the intricate, overlapping and highly sensitive issues that have shaped the relationship between two distrustful and estranged neighbours.

The opening line: "I was expelled from Pakistan in 2019.", is one of the finest hooks I have ever come across. It immediately captures Pakistan's enduring strategic preoccupation with Jammu & Kashmir and draws the reader into the diplomatic realities that follow.

However, it is the Prologue that I found to be the most engaging part of the book.

A must-read for anyone seeking to seriously understand, decipher and engage with the complex strategic, diplomatic and geopolitical dynamics underpinning the India–Pakistan relationship.

Why does Oman's coastline matter?

Oman's coastline has acquired enormous strategic value amid the US-Iran conflict. It provides an internationally recognised maritime corridor that allows commercial vessels to navigate the Strait of Hormuz while reducing exposure to Iranian territorial waters.

In times of crisis, this coastline becomes a strategic buffer supporting freedom of navigation, lowering operational risk and helping sustain one of the world's most critical energy trade routes.

Interestingly, Oman pursues a carefully balanced foreign policy. It maintains cordial relations with Iran while also being a long-standing security partner of the United States and keeping cooperative ties with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states. This unique position has enabled Muscat to act repeatedly as a trusted mediator.
